What Jesus did for us on the cross was awesome! Just try and get your head around it – Jesus was given to die for our sins! God’s own Son bled to death to take away all our sin and clean up our mess.

We deserve punishment for all the stuff we’ve done, but Jesus died to give us total forgiveness (for free!) That’s God’s mercy!

But that’s not the end of it all! The most incredible part of the whole story is that Jesus was fully raised from the dead! He didn’t just come back to show off His power, He was raised from the dead to make us right with God!

That means that Jesus’ death makes us clean, but by rising from the dead He’s made a way for us to be friends with God – forever! (And there’s no way that we ever deserved that!) That’s God’s grace!!!
