If your life had a theme tune what would it be? What would the lyrics be like?

Ever been in a really bad situation that seemed like there was no way out until somehow it all got sorted and everything was cool? How did you feel when it got sorted?

The bloke that wrote this verse (David) had been in such a tough situation he said it felt like he was stuck in dark, slimy pit with no way out. Then God stepped in, rescued him from the pit and made him safe!

That’s what becoming a Christian is like. It’s like God lifting you out of the slimy pit of sin, cleaning you up and making you safe forever!

No wonder David’s theme tune changed. His life and his lyrics were all about thanking God for saving him!

True worship is a life that says thank you to God!!!
