If you put a fresh apple in a bowl with loads of stinking rotten apples, does the fresh one make the rotten ones fresh, or do the rotten ones make the fresh one rot?

Obviously, the fresh apple goes bad! It might sound a bit stupid, but that’s what can happen to us if we hang out with the wrong people!

Some people always get into trouble. If we hang around with them – we’re going to end up in trouble too! Fighting, swearing, stealing, dirty jokes – it’s all stuff that God doesn’t want us doing, but we can easily get dragged into!

No matter how hard you try and how much good stuff you do, you’ve got to be really careful who you’re mates with! Good friends are great because they help you and watch out for you.

But don’t be fooled: bad friends will ruin good habits!
